THE AUTHORITIES ARE CONTINUING THEIR MASSACRE: HALIL ONDER, DEATH FAST RESISTER IN CEYHAN PRISON, FELL A MARTYR ON THE 68TH DAY
After the Usak Prison Death Fast resister Berrin BICKILAR, Halil ONDER, member of the First Death Fast Team in Ceyhan Prison, has also fallen martyr while refusing to accept forcible medical treatment on the 68th day. The murderous government is saying the Death Fasters “have burned themselves” and “nobody is dying on the Death Fast” in an attempt to conceal their own lies. They could not break the resistance with their murderous assault, on the contrary, it is even growing, and so now the authorities are trying to silence the voice of the resistance with censorship and lies. They are showing that they are the most immoral enemy in the world. But in vain. Just as we are defending ourselves against their tyranny we are also defending ourselves against their immorality.
The state stands for immorality, lies and massacres. We stand for honour, resistance, morality and the refusal to bow to oppression. The resolve of our resisters on their march towards death has exposed all the enemy’s lies. The enemy is savagely but helplessly attacking our resisters while trying to calculate how long they can keep it a secret. We cannot see
these attempts to engage in medical intervention by force anywhere else in the world, only in Hitler’s government in Germany can we see this form of tyranny and torture.
In the ‘F’ Type Nazi concentration camps, in the hospitals, in the concentration camps for women prisoners, the resistance is continuing to grow. We are continuing to die. On Bayram (the Islamic holiday currently in progress) our funerals will also take place. No violence, no tyranny can break revolutionary willpower. We will continue to use our right to resist right until the end. We will continue to make use of the most sacred and indispensable right in the world. Nobody can destroy or hold in contempt the right to resist. Those who want to destroy it, those who want to hold it in contempt are fascists. The Nazi fake government took from them everything necessary to sustain human life, engaging in every form of tyranny and torture, but they still cannot succeed in breaking the resistance. In particular, all prisoners everywhere who are on the First Death Fast Team ARE ABOUT TO DIE.
Doctors of the Mengele type are trying to forcibly intervene in the Death Fast, and the resisters are defending themselves against gendarmes who have tied them hand and foot. They are not accepting forcible medical treatment. Now they stand for the honour of the people of the entire world. Now, all the honourable people in the world are watching and listening to them. The resistance to the tyranny of the Nazi fake government will go on until all the ‘F’ Type concentration camps have been destroyed.
Once again we call on the press not to be the government’s partner in telling lies. Do not be trumpeters acting in the service of Nazism. Write the truth. Do not act as accomplices in their guilt.
Halil ONDER: (First Team of Death Fast Resisters):
Born in 1970 in Duzici-Osmaniye. Became acquainted with the revolutionary struggle in the ranks of Dev-Genc. Was imprisoned in September 1992. He spent a large part of his revolutionary life in prison. After staying in Bayrampasa and Umraniye prisons he came to Ceyhan Prison. Of revolutionism, he said, “We are engaging in the most beautiful, most noble, most valuable and most moral work in the world. I am very proud of this.” Our comrade Halil also expressed the following feelings when he took his place in the ranks of the First Death Fast Team, “Now only we will speak. And once we have begun to talk, nobody will know when we will be silent. We will speak so powerfully that everybody will hear us wherever they are. We know that victory is ours just as well as we know our own names. And from now on I feel honoured to be one of the creators of this victory.”
