THE PEOPLE OF TURKEY!
OUR COMRADES!
EITHER WE SHALL BE THE HEROES OF THIS PEOPLE
OR WE SHALL BE THE VICTIMS OF THE
IMPERIALIST EXECUTORS!
THERE IS NO THIRD WAY.
OUR PEOPLE!
ALL OUR COMRADES!
We will win only if we resist and wage war against the fascism and the imperialism!
If we do not fight, we will become slaves, we will be done away with!
We will fight and we will win!
We will make the world hell for the imperialists and heaven for the people!
We will bury the imperialism into death!
We entered the 2017 with the martyrdom of the people’s liberation warriors who held our flag of the liberation war. In the shelter that was bombed and burned, the bodies have mixed with the soil.
THE BIGGEST PIECE OF OUR COMRADES WAS ONLY 270 GRAMS.
WE RECEIVED THEM AS 165 BONES.
What was the sense of the body whose biggest piece has 270 grams?
What was the sense of the 165 bones that were left of 11 warriors?
What was the meaning of the 270 gram body?
What was the meaning of 165 bones?
What was the meaning of a piece of a fingernail?
“Do not resist, surrender” said the imperialism and it’s servants.
SURRENDER!
SURRENDER!
This call was made throughout the history.
In Arnavutköy,
in Maltepe,
in Kızıldere,
in the prisons of the Junta of September 12th,
in the Istanbul’s Çiftehavuzlar on April 16th-17th 1992,
in Ankara, Izmir, Adana,
in the prisons on December 19th 2000,
to Sıla, to İnanç, to Leyla,
in the mountains,
in the cities,
in the siege,
“Either you surrender, or you die!”
Those who resist are being massacred,
those who resist burn alive,
the bodies of those who resist fade away,
they are being ripped to shreds.
Because as long as there is resistance, revolution lives.
Because as long as there is resistance, socialism lives.
Because as long as there is resistance, people’s war carries on.
Because as long as there is resistance, submission is buried to a grave.
That is the meaning of the 270 gram bodies, of the 165 bone pieces.
It illuminates the path of the future,
it calls for independence,
it’s the way of liberation.
The way that could have not been changed since Kızıldere,
the way could have not been darkened,
the way that doesn’t know the meaning of pessimism and hopelessness,
the way which never, but will never break off from the people.
We did not leave them alone in the mountains.
This barbarity was committed in order to deter us from the armed struggle. This massacre was committed in order to make us abandon the defence of independence, democracy and socialism. Our dead died fighting, they were buried under the Sun. We reached our hands and took the fire from the Sun, and continued fighting.
A world without revolutionaries, with the revolutionary ideas erased from the minds, it’s a world sentenced to hopelessness. This was what the imperialists wanted. We did not permit it.
They could not get rid of us. They did not manage to reach our minds not even for a moment, and they never will.
WE CERTAINLY WILL TAKE THE REVENGE FOR THEM. WE WILL CALL TO ACCOUNT!
WE WILL GET EVEN MORE SKILLED IN WAGING WAR!
We preserved the ideological independence and clarity against the siege of submission and liquidation that the imperialism imposes on the organisations that wage the national and class liberation struggle in the world.
During 2017 we continued with the resistance and the struggle against the imperialist and fascist imposition of submission and liquidation. Together with our acts of resistance, our traditions and armed actions have made their fear grow bigger.
We added numerous traditions to our history on the subject of resistance and battle, we wrote an epic. We mastered it. Today, we will mobilise the people of our war, we will make the people fight. There is a need for heroes and commanders that will lead the war. With what we learnt from Leyla and Bilgehan, we will create new heroes, a new generation of commanders.
We March Under Fire for 47 years
Since we shot the first bullet for the anti-imperialist, anti-oligarchic revolution until today, we have continuously been the target of the imperialism and the fascism. We were massacred. We were imprisoned. We were set on fire. We were thrown into isolation cells. We were besieged. We were targets of the lowest of psychological war methods. We were put on “black lists”. Orders to shoot were issued against us. Rewards are offered for our heads. We have crossed through the cirle of fire.
This is a march of 47 years under fire. The fire of the enemy, the fire of the revolution that will embrace entire Anatolia and all the poor neighbourhoods will grow. That is a rule of war. It will be like that until the victory.
There are Two Classes and Two Ideologies
Essentially, this war is a war of two classes, of two ideologies, of two sides.
The history is the history of class struggle.
Societies have developed by the means of progressive classes overthrowing the reactionary ones and establishing its own power. Backward ones cannot stay in front of those who advanced.
The imperialism and the fascism resorted to all kind of terror in order to extend the life of the backward ones, looting and pillaging, of the sultanate.
Many are those who surrendered and who were scattered under those attacks. The Front stood firm.
We did not renounce neither our claims on the revolution nor the goals to achieve socialism. We did not renounce the armed struggle.
Shelters can be bombed and destroyed, however our headquarters is indestructible. Our headquarters is our ideology. There is no bomb that can destroy it, no drone in the hands of the imperialists and the collaborators that can hit it. With our ideology, our politics, our commanders, our heroes, we had our struggle continue to defeat the imperialist policy of reconciliation, submission and liquidation.
We Have Our Heroes, We Will Have Many More
On every sharp turning point of history, it’s people’s heroes that stand on the place where the last word is said. The history written in blood, at the same time, is the history of the heroes who shed that blood. The history was written by the skillful hands of the heroes who wrote the slogans on the walls with blood, who competed saying “I will first oppose the rope” during the death fast, who “sabotaged” other comrades in order to be able to sacrifice himself first, who illuminated the future with the fire they set in dark prison cells, who asked to account with the arms that came out from the burnt and destroyed shelters.
Heroes, the guarantee of the revolution are the future of the Front.
With out heroes we became the voice of the history and the breath of the revolution.
Every place in Anatolia is full of Leylas and Bilgehans. In the place where Leyla’s and Bilgehan’s Party-Font ideology comes together heroic deeds appear.
EVERY MEMBER OF THE FRONT MUST BE LIKE BILGEHAN.
WHO IS BILGEHAN?
“I am an honourable son of my people. I am a warrior of this natural war, I am not special. I love you. Being an honourable son of the people, I am in the place where I must be, and I do things that I have to do.” says our modest commander Bilgehan Karpat.
As if he is saying “Bye” or “Good morning”…
Without expecting anything from anyone, heroism is to be able to die as if singing a song.
That is our commander.
“I do not know how they found us, I am trying to find out”, he says.
He is not agitated, he is not panicking, until the last breath he is questioning and trying to understand himself.
SERENE LIKE THAT, DETERMINED LIKE THAT, MODEST LIKE THAT.
EVERY MEMBER OF THE FRONT MUST BE LIKE LEYLA.
WHO IS LEYLA?
SHE IS THE COMMANDER WHO DECIDED TO TAKE THE GUNS FROM THE BOMBED SHELTER AND TO ORGANIZE AN ACTION IN THE WORLD, WHERE UNEXCEPTIONALLY ALL ARMED ORGANIZATIONS DELIVERED THEIR GUNS TO THEIR ENEMIES AND BURIED THEIR GUNS IN CONCRETE.
“WHAT DO THREE GUERILLAS DO?
THREE GUERRILLAS MAKE REVOLUTION.” LEYLA IS FRONT’S COMMANDER WHO CARRY THIS BELIEF AND WRITE THE HISTORY.
Ideology is the one that creates the heroes who write the history and the historical policies.
The one that creates our heroes is our history, our ideology. The historical source of the ones who took the weapons from Leyla’s bombed shelter extends as far as the Maltepe resistence against the reformism that was carried out by the Mahir’s followers for 50 years.
EVERYONE CAN FIGHT.
EVERYONE CAN BE A HERO.
Revolutionism, self-sacrificing combativeness, and heroism is not a job of the “super-humans”, of “perfect, deficiency free” people. We always stood against such idealism. Our leader Dursun Karataş’s definition is clear: “Heroes are the ones who do what they should do at correct time, in correct place.”
Heroism is, DOING THE JOBS THAT MUST BE DONE IN ANY CONDITION.
The preference of the war against the people that the imperialism has cleared the way to, is clear:
EITHER YOU WILL BE VICTIMS OR FIGHTERS!
Those that fight become heroes.
To be a hero is not to submit to the difficult conditions of the war.
To be a hero is to be able to take a decision to fight every type of difficulty, in spite of the impossibility and under the siege of the enemy.
Our destiny is in our hands. We will make our decision.
Heroism is to be able to Take a Deicision to Fight
To be a hero is to be able to take a decision to fight every type of difficulty, in spite of the impossibility and under the siege of the enemy.
The struggle is multidirectional. Heroism is where we uncompromisingly go over the difficulties we cope with. It is in the war we start against our deficiencies.
Sometimes heroism is among the neighbourhoods we didn’t go to, streets we didn’t walk on, doors we didn’t call. Heroism is at the job that we must finish when we are very sleepy. Heroism is to force yourself to be able to take extra load on your back.
Heroism is in extra work, in more self-sacrifice, in more patience… It is to be able to give more in the defence of the values related to humanity.
Making revolution not every day, not every hour, not every minute, “heroism” is required every moment. Every moment of a revolutionary is a heroism. It’s every moment is a defiance to imperialism and to fascism. It’s every moment rejects the culture of imperialism and fascism.
Heroism is to Increase What is Within Our Capabilities
Heroism is to fight and beat whatever there is that puts pressure on oneself. Hero is the one that strikes what is rotten and what makes rot, the one that protects what develops and improves.
Heroism is in behind a hill in a countryside, it is in the house to which one does not go while distributing the magazine, in the street one does not enter, in the lack of sleep, in the excess of labour, patience, bravery and self-sacrifice.
Hero is the one who does more then what is within his capabilities.
We cannot desire the political power only by doing what’s within our capabilities. We cannot build socialism only by doing what’s within our capabilities. We cannot fight anyone by doing only what’s within out capabilities.
To require more then what’s within our capabilities is to want political power. It’s to own the claim on the revolution. It’s to feel great anger and resentment against the system of terror and oppression. Where such ideas do not exist, conciliation with the enemy does exist.
Heroism is What is Natural
Heroism is what defies imperialism with the last breath, it is trying to reach the enemy himself and leaving additional information to the comrades, it is to embrace death as if saying “hello… goodbye”, it is to be able to fight and become a martyr like Leyla, like Bilgehan.
Heroism is to fight without expecting anything from anyone, and to be able to make all kinds of sacrifices.
Heroism is to produce. It means a new moral, a new life.
Bilgehan Karpat used to say: “I am an honourable son of my people. I am a warrior of this natural war, I am not special. I love you. Being an honourable son of the people, I am in the place where I must be, and I do things that I have to do.”
Heroism is as natural as that.
They are sons of the people, heroes of the people. They are the creators of this history, they will also be the founders of the future.
Heroes Never Die, Because the People Never Die
The imperialism and the fascism does not have heroes. Being a police is paid, being a soldier is compulsory. As for the people, it has many heroes. They are all sons of the people.
At every turning point of the history, if the the solution of the contradictions is for heroes to appear, they appeared:
Their appearance is a natural event.
We wage people’s struggle;
we will build people’s power,
we are the people itself.
The ones who abandon the struggle, the ones who surrender, they do not become heroes.
As long as we do not abandon the struggle, the people’s heroes will continue to appear.
People is invincible! People cannot be done away with.
OUR PEOPLE,
COMRADES!
A new year means a new year of struggle.
As people, our blood was spilled and we paid the price for all the rights and freedoms we have. To protect them and to use them is only possible by risking all the values.
This is a struggle within fire. It will get more difficult as we go. We will pass through this circle of blood and fire with our heroes. We will pass and march until we reach the victory.
We should make a decision.
The imperialist impose upon us a life hunger, scarcity, poverty, slavery and without honour. Either we will submit and accept this degradation, or we shall fight.
Our tradition will determine our choice:
WE WILL BE EITHER VICTIMS OR WARRIORS!
Those who do not fight are bound to lose. Those that fight become heroes. The people who has people, wins.
“EVEN IF NO FRONT’S MEMBER REMAINS ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH, EVEN IF ONE NIGHT ALL FRONT’S MEMBERS ARE DESTROYED, THEOLOGY OF PARTY-FRONT WILL CREATE ITSELF AGAIN FROM THE ASHES. BECAUSE OF THAT WE ARE NOT AFRAID OF DEATH NOT EVEN A BIT. BECAUSE OF THAT WE ARE SO POWERFUL AGAINST OUR ENEMY.”
It is the great historical experience. Revolutionary leader Mao summarised this experience with this words: “A single spark can start a prairie fire. In other words, although our forces are currently small, they will quickly grow.”
They will grow.
The history of the Front is full of such examples.
We organised resistance against the fascist occupiers on a signle comrade’s initiative. In the houses of torture, in the prisons, on the initiative of one comrade who didn’t submit, we repelled the oppression. We lit the fires of resistance one by one, all over Anatolia.
Finally, this year we experienced once more the “spark that can start a prairie fire” in the resistance that Nuriye has started. In order to resist, a single heart, a single brain is sufficient. It is not necessary to have big weapons, big opportunities or big mass support. Those that idolise big weapons would surrender to a big power.
Our biggest weapon is our ideology. The most powerful weapon is a person that believes. There is no oppression, no weapon, no difficulty that will overcome the resistance of a person that believes, that will do away with it’s influence on the history.
Just a single person, who is aware of being historically and politically rightous, spreads the hope from tongue to tongue, from ear to ear; moralizes, heartens the people; unites, strenghtens them, “starts a prairie fire”.
Every single Front’s member should be a spark in the Anatolian prairie. All valiant and honorable workers can be a spark in the darkness of fascism.
Peoples of Turkey,
our comrades,
The final target of the People’s Liberation War we continue despite all the tyranny and sieges is, the independent, democratic and socialist Turkey.
We call our people to be the honorable, strong warriors and heroes of this path. With the belief and enthusiasm that we will dismantle the imperialists and their collobrators from our land, we wish you a happy new year.
