Ali Osman Köse, a revolutionary who dedicated his 63-year life to the liberation of the peoples of Turkey and the world, was imprisoned while fighting for an independent, democratic and socialist country, spending 37 years of his life in prison.

As punishment for his lifelong revolutionary activities for failing to make him bow his head to imperialism and fascism, the fascist power sentenced Ali Osman Köse to life imprisonment.
