KIZILDERE IS THE ROAD OF REVOLUTION AND THERE IS NO TURNING BACK!

REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE`S LIBERATION PARTY

bulletin No.51 March 30, 2018

KIZILDERE IS THE ROAD OF REVOLUTION AND THERE IS NO TURNING BACK!

THOSE WHO DO NOT SURRENDER CANNOT BE DEFEATED!

Imperialism wants to leave the peoples of Turkey and the world disarmed, hopeless and without belief! We will not let imperialism experience this victory!

VICTORY WILL BELONG TO THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD WHO RESIST AND FIGHT!

BECAUSE WE ARE THERE!

People of Turkey and the world

We reject peace with imperialism and fascism and the giving up of weapons

Because peace and giving up weapons is SURRENDER

We announce to our people and the peoples of the world that:

All policies called “peace processes” are DECEIT and SURRENDER.

Let us reject peace-making and disarmament with the exploiters and the tyrants!

Our people!

All “peace” in the 20th and 21st century proved that:

ALL THE BLOOD THAT FLOWED IN GUERRILLA WARFARE AND THE ARMED STRUGGLE WAS NOT A CAUSE, IT WAS A RESULT!

Everywhere that weapons were given up, the blood DID NOT CEASE TO FLOW!

REMOVING THE RESULT DID NOTHING TO REMOVE THE CAUSE!

The way is obvious:

There is only one way to stop the blood of the peoples flowing, to stop the tears of the mothers:

TO TEAR DOWN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE TYRANTS WITH REVOLUTION AND ESTABLISH PEOPLE’S POWER!

Revolution is the only road, the road of revolution is the road of our Party

The road of liberation for the peoples of Turkey was drawn by the Party-Front, the road was shown by Mahir and his followers using their own blood. We call on the peoples of Turkey to unite and fight under the leadership of our Party.

1972: We were in Kizildere. We said: “We did not come here to turn back, we came here to die…” We died. We wrote the manifesto of revolution.

1978: We set up a flag in opposition to denial and liquidation and said, “Our road is the road of Cayan” and we fought.

1984: We said “We will not surrender” and we became a flash of lightning in the darkness.

1992: We said “Our flag will fly in the four corners of the country” and it did.

1994: We said it was now the time. It was now the time for the Party and the Front that will be the leadership of the peoples of Turkey on the road of liberation.

1990-2000: When our base was surrounded, we said “When did you ever see us surrender?” We died smiling when we were surrounded. We gave history traditions and legends as a present.

2000-2007: Imperialism said, “Either change your beliefs or die,” and like in Kizildere we died but were not defeated. We died 122 times, we bore the honour of giving life to revolution, socialism and Marxism-Leninism.

2017: In a world in which giving up weapons, surrendering and liquidation are dominant, and we asked, “What can three unarmed guerrillas do?” We were surrounded with our weapons by flames. Every bullet we fired hit imperialism, surrender and liquidation.

2018: In the face of policies of the enemy that aim to destroy us down to our bones, the Bilgehans and Leylas wrote history with bullets and rockets: “War Until Liberation!”

1 – IMPERIALISM WANTS TO MAKE MINDS SURRENDER

The 1900s were a century which saw the biggest changes in the world, economically, politically, socially, culturally, militarily, ideologically and scientifically. During this century, the socialist system opened the way up to economic, political, social and scientific developments, gaining dynamism all over the world, and there were national and social liberation movements.

A world without socialism and national and social liberation movements is like a star that has been extinguished. This is the world’s real doomsday.

Imperialism in the 1990s and after 2000 ensured political and military superiority with plots in the socialist countries, unleashing counter-revolutions, getting a significant number of national and social liberation movements to surrender. But this was not enough for imperialism. During these years, imperialism implemented its basic policy, one of forming minds so they would surrender.

Unless imperialism’s policy of making minds surrender is evaluated correctly, it is not possible in practice to evaluate anything correctly. Neither imperialist occupations, which were not solely about oil, nor the massacre of December 19 (2000), which was not simply about imposing a particular prison model.

The basic aim of imperialism in the last 30 years is to make minds surrender, so that among the peoples there is no resistance to imperialism, no struggle is waged, and the mentality is created that revolution is not possible.

This was the aim of the December 19 massacre.

This was the aim of the embargo practised against Iraq, resulting in the death of 500,000 children.

This was the aim of the occupation of Iraq.

This was the aim behind ripping the Balkans apart.

This was the aim behind NATO BOMBING Libya so that not one stone remained on top of another.

This was the aim behind hanging Saddam and lynching Gaddafi.

This was the aim behind the “terrorism lists”.

With all these policies, imperialism wants to make resistance to it IMPOSSIBLE.

In our world today, no-one is to BE ABLE TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST IMPERIALIST PRESSURE.

Those who do will be made to pay a price…

By influencing their minds, they want to bring about the surrender of all forces, countries, organisations and individuals opposed to imperialism.

With these policies, imperialism has got a great many countries and organisations to surrender. “We do not say anything about the USA in Kurdistan creating stability for itself in the region. It can create order according to its own interests.” (Ozgur Politika, June 20, 1999) This was said by the PKK and people like Cemil Bayik. Quite a few guerrilla movement leaders put on white shirts and shook hands with the murderers.

But imperialism could not achieve a definite success with this policy.

Because if there is even one force in the world, one political movement that does not accept this pressure, imperialism has not achieved final victory. And at that point, with our heads held high, we can say before the peoples: WE ARE HERE!

2 – WE ARE HERE!

In the face of all attacks by imperialism, military, political, psychological and ideological, at the cost of being on our own, we have not deviated from Marxism-Leninism, we have not given up on our claims to revolution and our belief in socialism.

Without facing up to being on our own in the world, it is not possible to bring the peoples to revolution and reach socialism.

In today’s world, unless you defend Marxism-Leninism and face up to physical annihilation, creating an independent homeland and establishing revolutionary people’s power are not possible.

We have this willpower, this ideological clarity. And we say with this strength and confidence that:

WE ARE HERE, in opposing a “new world order” of imperialism that in truth contains nothing new.

WE ARE HERE, in the face of an injustice that means three monopoly capitalists have more income than the entire continent of Africa.

WE ARE HERE, against policies that seek to make the world’s peoples surrender to hunger, unemployment, narcotics, prostitution and gambling.

WE ARE HERE, against IMPERIALIST OCCUPIERS who have massacred millions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, all without any just or legitimate pretext.

WE ARE HERE, against imperialist policies that seek to imprison the peoples within the system by means of parliamentarianism, which means betrayal of the peoples in favour of collaboration with the USA and EU.

WE ARE HERE, with the banner of Marxism-Leninism against those who say “the age of revolutions is over, socialism is dead.”

WE ARE HERE, against some who deceive the world’s peoples with the “democracy game” while others seek to intimidate the world’s peoples with NATO, the UN, the EU and all international imperialist institutions.

WE ARE HERE, continuing to say that the only road of the peoples to liberation is armed struggle wages with courage and determination and aimed at achieving power.

As the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party and Front, for 24 years we have fought against imperialism and the oligarchy.

From the point of view of the ideological struggle, it is necessary to expose the content of “peace” politics that deceive the people and are promoted by all those left forces that are part of imperialism and its system.

The minds of all national and social liberation fighters of the people and the world must be liberated from these deceivers.

Our statement on the anniversary of our Party’s foundation has brought up this subject for this reason.

3 – THE DEMAND FOR PEACE, LEGITIMATE FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE PEOPLES, IS SURRENDER FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF POLITICAL MOVEMENTS

ONE: The demand for peace is a legitimate one from the viewpoint of the peoples. The rightfulness and legitimacy of the peoples’ demand for peace comes from thousands of years of pain and tears.

The duty of a revolutionary political leadership is not to belittle or ignore the demand of the people, it is to show the way to end the flow of blood and tears. For this reason, it is a historical and class demand to want to put an end to all the pain of the Kurdish people, the peoples of Latin America and all the peoples of the world.

This is what differentiates the demand for peace of the people from that of the petit bourgeois sections who hoist the banner of peace and have shown no self-sacrifice in war. The peoples have known how to die by the tens of thousands, the hundreds of thousands, the millions, for the sake of wanting peace and for national and class liberation. In the Anatolian Liberation War, the peoples of Anatolia, and in the 1st Imperialist War the Soviet peoples on the one hand demanded peace, on the other they fought and died.

In the world of our day, there is nothing that will bring freedom, independence, justice, equality and prosperity to the peoples, Revolutionaries and patriots have the duty of explaining this to our people.

TWO: In a period in which imperialism has occupied countries to spread its sovereignty all over the world, has carried out massacres in country after country where people have resisted and fought, has legalised putting bounties on peoples’ heads by means of terrorism lists, and has raised economic injustice to unheard of heights in human history, for any political movement to defend “peace” and bow down to imperialism is the negation of the peoples’ rightfulness and legitimacy.

4 – THOSE WHO EXPLOIT THE PEOPLES CANNOT STOP THE BLOOD FROM FLOWING!

The demand “stop the flow of blood or the tears of mothers” is an abstract demand. In particular these two questions must be posed:

  • Who is causing whose blood to flow?
  • Who is causing mothers to weep?

The blood of the peoples has been made to flow for thousands of years. The cause why the blood of the peoples flows is the repression and tyranny of the exploitative classes.

They cannot exploit without spilling blood and cannot rule without spilling blood.

To look at the European imperialist countries and object, “Look, they are also exploiters, but they do not kill their own peoples” is to recall the reality of imperialism. They also spill blood. They have spilled blood over and over to an exponential degree in whatever neo-colonial country and are able to spill more. Not in their own countries but in neo-colonial ones. But from examples we know that if imperialism sees fit for the sake of continuing its own exploitation, it will not hesitate to slaughter its own people as well.

In that case the “stop the blood” demand is a rejection of the class struggle. The only way for the peoples to stop the blood is TO REMOVE THE GOVERNMENTS THAT SPILL BLOOD. This is revolution.

5 – EVERY PEACE AGREEMENT IS SURRENDER TO THE WILL OF THE ENEMY

War is a clash of wills. Those who enter into conciliation, surrender, liquidation have surrendered their will to the enemy. Lack of will is political death.

The will of those who are Marxist-Leninists is to prefer to fight.

Our weapons represent our willpower.

Our weapons protect and strengthen our willpower.

The guerrilla army that fights for the revolutionary power of the people is the armed willpower of the people.

The guerrilla war is that of the people against imperialism and fascism. There cannot be a war without the guerrillas. There is no unarmed guerrilla.

Guerrillas are the defenders of the history of the people and constructors for the people’s future. We will not give up guerrillas and we will not give up weapons. A weapon is not a heap of iron.

A weapon is an eye that destroys the brain of the enemy, a determination that is merciless towards the heart of the enemy. Everything is a weapon, supplied by life and by nature and accessible to the people. This is the greatest of weapons, it leaves the mightiest of weapons helpless. We have learned this from our history. This is our anti-imperialist, anti-fascist knowledge.

Unilateral disarming by guerrillas, unilateral cease-fires are, from a historical, political and military understanding SURRENDER OF ONE SIDE TO ANOTHER. THEY ARE THE GIVING UP OF WAR.

In no peace or conciliation process are there truly “sides” and a “table”. The “table” is for show. One side gets the other to bow to its will. All such processes are characterised by one side getting the other to concede its will.

The document on lack of will; 56 in 57: The course of FARC’s negotiation with the government of Colombia make this very clear.

The government of Colombia with FARC prepared and agreed a 57-paragraph plan “at the table”. Both sides signed the agreement.

But the government of Colombia, on the pretext that a referendum had rejected it, changed the agreement from 57 to 56 (that is, one paragraph was omitted) and put in front of FARC.

FARC which had abandoned its weapons and accepted the will of those opposite will be able to do nothing.

Without objection, the plan prepared by the oligarchy of Colombia was accepted. Can we really call this an “agreement” now?

There is no “agreement” in any peace process. The only reality is surrender. To get the peoples to accept surrender, a theatre performance of “agreements”, “tables”, “negotiations” is put on.

The state of Colombia killed something lie 500 members and supporters of FARC during the “peace negotiations, despite this, FARC was unable to show its will by rejecting the “negotiations”. Because as we have determined, by sitting down at the table at all it SHOWED ITS LACK OF WILL.

The example of lack of will in El Salvador: The People’s Liberation War in El Salvador – in January 1992 under the supervision of the UN, this war was ended by a “peace agreement” in Mexico City signed between the FMLN and the government of El Salvador. 75,000 people had died in the civil war in El Salvador.

In the “agreement” some of the most important agreements were these three:

  • The National Police, the National Guard and the Treasury Police were dissolved:
  • The army would be reconstituted in line with civil authority and the law:
  • A justice commission would be empowered to determine the guilty and put them before a court.

The first two paragraphs were not implemented. Even so, the justice commission was established. The commission issued its report on March 15, 1993. In documents in relation to 22,000 people murdered, disappeared or tortured, the names of the guilty were determined.

So what happened after that?

The report was issued on March 15, 1993.

On March 20, 1993, just 5 days after the report was issued, the government issued an “unconditional general amnesty to all the murderers, torturers and people who made others disappear. The government said, “What peace!?”

And FMLN, disarmed, toothless, its claws removed and without willpower, could not say a word against these developments.

In the course of two years after the “peace”, 36 members of the FMLN were murdered by contra-guerrillas. There would be no revenge by the FMLN, it had no weapons with which to demand a reckoning. Their minds did not even contain such a thought. After every murder they signalled their “indignation”.

6 – GUERRILLA WARFARE IS NOT THE REASON BLOOD FLOWS, BUT THE RESULT. IF THEY ABANDON WEAPONS, THE BLOOD OF THE PEOPLE CONTINUES TO BE SPILLED

Stopping guerrilla warfare (with cease-fires or peace) removes neither results nor cause. AS THE CAUSE REMAINS, blood continues to flow in different ways. When guerrilla warfare has ended with “peace”, that is, surrender, this has been the case in every country.

  • In the “peace period” in El Salvador, the number of people killed actually leaves behind the number killed in the most violent period of the civil war, 1981-84. An El Salvador citizen says the following: “The situation is worse than before… Before if you did not involve yourself in politics you were not killed, now you can even be killed in your house.” Investigations reveal that many of the killings occur in the home or on the street and those who are killed ar among the youngest victims in the world. (Central American University, 1997 El Salvador Report)
  • In 2016, there continued to be 15 murders a day.
  • South Africa is one of the prime examples were “peace” did not stop blood from flowing.

One of the “bloodiest” periods in South African history took place after ANC leader Nelson Mandela left prison in 1991 as part of the “peace process” and the election victory of the ANC in 1994.

In this period dozens of the leading cadres of the ANC were killed on the street, and fascist state terror killed about 20,000 people. The ANC could not say to this, “continue the war”.

The “peace” after the ANC entered government is quite striking: the number of murders when the ANC is in government is greater than before.

In the year 1995 alone there have been 220,990 common law attacks, with 26,637 people killed. His figure is more than the “political deaths” in the 10 years between 1984 and 1994. In the same year, with “peace”, there were 47,506 rapes and 120,952 thefts. So in the peace conditions of 1995, 52 people were killed every day and every 30 minutes there was a rape in South Africa.

This is peace!

The cause of these deaths is the development of organised crime, its establishment within the state, impoverishment and corruption.

The armed liberation struggle of the people was a barricade to these kinds of crimes.

These figures in the peace process prove this to be true.

One other figure from South Africa – “After ‘peace’ the life expectancy contracted by 12 years.” (Mandela’s Africa: Poverty, Hunger and Massacres.)

Another country with “peace”: Northern Ireland

During the civil war in the north of Ireland, 3,600 people in total were killed. In 1998 the IRA ceased its armed struggle.

From 1998 to 2014 a total of 3,859 people committed suicide. With the “peace process” the suicide rate doubled.

Is this a coincidence? Certainly not.

Hopelessness, a loss of ideals, poverty and a sense of helplessness cause this depression.

The example from Guatemala: After the peace this is reported: “Yes, during the war there were deaths but now there are more And this violence is greater than before. Much more in whole country… You can have someone removed for 30-40 quetzals… The government is hand in hand with the mafia… A great part of the state is involved with the narcotics trade… The drugs trade is the reason for all this violence… (Guerrilla Peace, pages 117-118)

Mafia and fascist gangs act freely, poverty drives people to their knees and the people die and there is no force acting against this.

  • In the example from Colombia the figures say the same:

In the year FARC gave up its guns, before many months had passed, narcotics gangs, other Mafiosi and counter-revolutionary groups began to sow terror among the people. In the country the number of confiscations from the people increased by five times over in the period 2007-2015. In the period 2014-2015, executions of those involved in the democratic struggle, directors of human rights foundations and village leaders increased by 13%.

Gangs called “Bacrim” have taken over areas that the guerrillas dominated and they attack the people.

In the 10 countries with the highest murder rates, these countries where guerrilla war was ended with “peace agreements” can be found:

  • El Salvador: In every hundred deaths, 41.2 are the result of murder.
  • Guatemala, 39.9%
  • South Africa, 31%

(May 21, 2017, from the press)

As is seen, when the weapons fall silent, that is, the guerrilla war is ended, the blood does not cease to flow. The war on the people continues in various forms. What does not continue is the people’s war for liberation.

Other examples can be given of “peace agreements”. For example, in some “peace agreements” land reform is written into the text. But to the present day not one metre of land has been seen to be redistributed.

Legal reforms and constitutional changes are written into “peace agreements”. None have been implemented.

Because there are no conditions for implementing them.

One side has surrendered. The other has achieved the surrender of its rival in the class struggle.

The side that has surrendered has no more will left and there is no reason for its demands to be accepted.

For that reason, since the 1980s, on a world scale we can say that all the “peace agreements” we have examined have not been “peace agreements”. The agreements were merely called that as a means to MAKE SURRENDER ACCEPTABLE AND AS A POLICY TO DECEIVE THE PEOPLES WITH THAT OBJECTIVE.

AGREEMENT FINISHES THE MOMENT IT IS SIGNED!

Because henceforth the white flag has been raised and the defeated bow down before those who defeated them.

A peace agreement for this reason, for a guerrilla movement that has given tens of thousands of martyrs in war against imperialism and fascism means defeat, humiliation, crushing and helplessness.

7 – GUERRILLA WAR IS HOPE OF LIBERATION FOR THE FUTURE, AND A BARRICADE AGAINST FASCISM AND CORRUPTION BEING EXPERIENCED IN THIS PERIOD

A former guerrilla in Guatemala was asked about the difference between before peace and after by a journalist, and he answered:

“…At that time we had hope because we held weapons in our hands… Today we have nothing.”

This is the summary of what “peace” is – the hopelessness of the peoples.

To deprive the peoples of hope is an ideological attack.

There are three important results of guerrillas giving up weapons:

  1. In a place where guerrillas surrender and give up their weapons, mafias and gangs fill the vacuum left by the guerrillas.
  2. In a place where guerrilla warfare has ended, religiosity, fatalism, nationalism and forces for the system gain strength.
  3. In a place where guerrilla warfare has ended, the swamp of corruption quickly covers a greater area.

All of these are inevitable results.

We always hear that:

The hardest war is peace”, “making peace is harder than making war”, “persistence in peace”, “silencing weapons takes a great effort of will”…

All of these words are the darkest demagogy, they are lies and deceit.

There is no persistence here in opposing the ruling classes. On the contrary, there is a tendency to take shelter in the justice system of the ruling class.

In no peace agreement have the weapons FALLEN SILENT.

All that is silent is the weapons of the people. The weapons of fascist governments continue to speak and all reformist, opportunist surrender merchants who sign the peace agreement know this truth well and accept it.

This year on Newroz and March 8, International Women’s Day, all opportunist and reformist sections joined together in chanting the slogan of “peace” again. They wanted peace. In the class struggle, under the attacks of AKP fascism they repeated this refrain but there was no sense or political process to it. The slogan of peace was henceforth a slogan devoid of politics.

  • Those who lack politics when confronting imperialism and fascism,
  • Those who have no politics in the face of Kurdish nationalism and collaboration

Continue to talk of “peace”.

This is corruption born from the vacuum produced by cease-fires, withdrawal abroad and collaboration with the USA and in no way is the Kurdish nationalist movement on the agenda.

Only the Front is there opposing mafia gangs, religiosity, nationalism and corruption. Because only the Front continues war and fighting with determination.

8 – “PEACE” POLITICS ARE A BETRAYAL OF MARTYRS

REVOLUTION IS OUR PROMISE TO OUR MARTYRS AND WE WILL KEEP OUR PROMISE!

The flags of the struggle for liberation of the peoples of the world from imperialism and fascism are their martyrs. Every price that is paid, every life that is given, is within their ideals when they set out on the road. Whoever gives up on these ideals and aims IS BETRAYING THE MARTYRS.

In El Salvador, in Guatemala, in Mexico, from FARC giving up its weapons to the case of the PKK, when tens of thousands have given their lives those who GIVE UP ON the cause of national and class liberation are clearly and openly betraying their martyrs.

When they have given their lives for their ideals, sitting down at the peace negotiating table with imperialists and fascist dictatorships is surrender.

The history of the peoples’ struggle for freedom is written in the blood of our martyrs.

We owe it to them at every moment when we keep our heads held high.

Our martyrs have opened the way to independence and freedom for us.

We owe the horizons we walk towards for the blood they have shed.

Between March 30 and April 17, these are for us the historic days for commemorating our martyrs of revolution.

Their existence is a constant reminder to us what war and peace mean.

To make peace with those who killed them is betrayal of them, our ideals and our people.

In these conditions, when winds of betrayal, surrender and liquidation blew from all points of the compass, and martyrs were betrayed in a number of countries:

WE ANNOUNCE THAT WE RESPECT THE MARTYRS OF OUR HISTORIC FIGHT AND STAND UP FOR ALL THE MARTYRS OF THE WORLD’S PEOPLES WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM.

No martyr who gave his or her life for the peoples died in vain. WE GIVE OUR WORD TO ALL MARTYRS to be the representatives of all who long for independence, democracy and socialism, bread and justice.

REVOLUTION IS OUR PROMISE TO OUR MARTYRS.

Up to the present we have not violated our promise, nor will we afterwards. We will keep our word. Keeping our word means fighting until liberation.

This is why we will always stay far away from peace, conciliation and the giving up of weapons.

From the June 1, 1971 resistance in Maltepe, we broke through 50 years of revisionism with 51 hours of our resistance, such great resistance that the martyrs are the reason for the open stand we take against conciliation and liquidation.

Our martyrs are our mind, our martyrs are our heart, our martyrs are our soul, our martyrs are our horizon, belief, our martyrs are our anger and our failure to be reconciled. Our martyrs are the total of all values of history and the people. Our martyrs are the creators and owners of 48 years of our history. It is our martyrs who first marked out the road we would go down and determined the stages of the journey.

Our martyrs in Kizildere marked out the path. Between 1978 and 1980, we toughened the anti-fascist struggle with our martyrs. In 1984, 1996 and 2000-2007 our direction was determined by the Death Fasts. In 1992 in Ciftehavuzlar the resistance was a flag waving to determine the road for revolution and socialism. From the Dersim mountains to the Taurus mountains, from the Aegean to the Black Sea, our martyrs irrigated the mountains with their blood, and they were the name of our persistence on the path of the people’s liberation war.

For us they are not simply the “past”.

If that were the case, we would simply be like all opportunist, reformist and nationalist movements.

No, our martyrs are our today. They are an ideological force for our line.

They are a political victory for our line.

Our line is Marxism-Leninism, socialism, proletarian dictatorship.

9 – THE REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE’S LIBERATION PARTY-FRONT HAS BEEN ON THE ROAD OF LIBERATION FOR 48 YEARS

Today, whether friend or enemy, a very brad section has had to accept that the Front line, with workers, public workers, Free Prisoners, youth, poor inhabitants of the city neighbourhoods, friends and family of prisoners, architects, engineers and lawyers, the crippled, militias and fighters is the only force that RESISTS UNDER ALL CONDITIONS.

The Front’s civil servants resist, so do the architects. The children of the Front resist, so do the 70-year-olds. The Front resists in the schools and in the city neighbourhoods. In the armed and in the unarmed sphere. Nearly all the legends of the revolutionary struggle in Turkey bear the stamp of the Front.

Why is this the case?

This is a question we ask a great deal.

This is also a question that reformism, revisionism flee from and fear to answer.

We are the continuation of the People’s Liberation Party-Front of Turkey (THKP-C) established in December 1970 under the leadership of Mahir Cayan and his friends.

From that day to this, we have chosen the most militant traditions of the world revolutionary movement, the most heroic examples of struggle in the history of the peoples of the world as our guide.

Mahir said the following at the time:

Someone who wants to inherit the past, the resolute and irreconcilable struggles of the past, today is obliged to pursue the correct revolutionary line and hold high the revolutionary banner of the proletariat.

Today, whoever holds aloft the exalted flag of Lenin in both theory and in social practice, holding it high in the face of the attack by imperialism and opportunism, will be… the historical continuation of the Marxist movement in Turkey!”

The chief link in the world revolutionary movement in Turkey is the Front.

Opportunism and reformism, every time they come under severe pressure, will not take their examples from the resistance traditions of the people but will seek “backward” examples, or examples of “conciliation” and present these as a “model”. From history these types of models of conciliation and surrender are turned into a theory. During the First Imperialist War, Lenin’s Brest-Litovsk agreement, the step backwards from socialist construction called the “New Economic Policy” and Stalin’s agreement with Nazi Germany are given as examples.

But none of these are examples of their conciliatory tendencies that will explain their surrender. Because there is no tendency to surrender in any of them.

And essentially this is how history has looked at them. But they are looking at history as a “pretext” to justify their own conciliation and tendency to surrender.

For our part, we in all our resistance, have looked at the history of the peoples to see what we could find to strengthen our resistance. We have found legends and carried them into the present. And in carrying them we have written new legends and every time we have grown a little more.

We have always been clear ideologically. In the class struggle ideology functions at the same time as a headquarters. Our headquarters has been affected by no attacks or encirclements.

For this reason, we have been the only ones resisting fascist juntas, martial law and states of emergency.

10 – THE REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE BLOOD AND TEARS OF THE PEOPLE FROM FLOWING.

THE ROAD OF LIBERATION OF OUR PARTY IS THE ONLY ROAD

Again, in the 1970s, Mahir wrote:

However much the terror of the oligarchy grows, however violent it is, our Party’s guerrilla warfare will continue. The road of our Party is the road of revolution. The road of revolution is the road of our Party.”

The peace policy:

  • Is a policy for those who have lost courage and will for a war against imperialism and fascism,
  • For those who do not have the aim of power of who have broken away from it
  • And is resorted to by those who do not believe in revolutionary people’s power and socialism.

This policy can solve none of the problems of the people.

This policy can never bring the peoples to independence, democracy and socialism.

Imperialism has not changed. Fascism has not changed. Against imperialism and fascism the only road to liberation of the peoples is people’s war.

War is necessary.

It will be won at a great price.

But if this war is not waged, the peoples will thrash around in hunger, poverty and unemployment, sink into the swamp of corruption and be dragged into misery and despair.

The way to prevent this is to fight for liberation.

What does liberation mean?

It is for our people to be free and our homeland to be independent.

For this, the fascist government must be torn down and imperialism driven off.

This is not possible without waging armed struggle and the army of the people having weapons.

Peoples of Turkey and the world!

Let us arm ourselves against imperialism and fascism.

Let us move forward on the road of liberation.

The armed struggle is a necessity. It is the only road to liberation.

Comrades:

We have taken on the burden of revolution. Our burden is also heavier in the encirclement by imperialism and AKP fascism. Our shoulders must be as strong as our ideology.

This is the picture presented by the world and by our country. We are the hope of the world’s peoples and our own.

We will build up hope with the labour, the courage and the will of all our comrades. This is our historic duty.

Our Party;

Will continue to be the defender of the only road of liberation for the peoples,

Defend revolution and socialism,

Defend independence, democracy and socialism,

And reject conciliation with imperialism and the tendency to surrender.

DOWN WITH CONCILIATION, THE TENDENCY TO SURRENDER AND THE POLICY OF LIQUIDATION

WAR UNTIL LIBERATION

KIZILDERE IS THE ROAD OF LIBERATION AND THERE IS NO TURNING BACK FROM IT!

THOSE WHO DO NOT SURRENDER CANNOT BE DEFEATED!

THE ONLY ROAD IS REVOLUTION, THE ONLY SOLUTION IS SOCIALISM
