WE ARE HOLDING OUR 3rd INTERNET CONCERT FOR IMPRISONED PEOPLE’S LAWYERS AND ARTISTS BY SAYING: STRUGGLE AT ALL COSTS, JUSTICE NO MATTER WHAT!

Five months back, with the emblem of “Long Live Independent Turkey” we were in front of you on the first Internet concert we held. After that, behind the banners saying “Shoulder to Shoulder Against the Fascism” together with our artist friends, we sang our songs, our marches…

The fascism wants to do away with Grup Yorum. It wants to eliminate the movement by arresting 11 of our friends, by putting 6 of our friends to the grey list and placing prize on their heads.

We are saying: “Here we are” as a response to all the attacks…

Behind us we have a 33 yearold logo. On our stage there is a place for everyone whose heart beats for independence and socialism. Our roots are strong, the value of making art for the people that our teachers left us is very powerful. With that force we march overcoming all obstacles. With new songs, with new concerts we are giving an answer to those that want to leave us without a movement.

We are saying: “Struggle no matter what.”

The the more the ferocious imperialist explotation continues, the more the class struggle continues, the more rich get richer and poor get poorer, we will continue to sing songs against the surrender and conciliation, we will continue to say “Struggle no matter what”.

We are saying: “Justice no matter what.”

Justice is people’s bread, said Brecht. Oppressed, exploited wronged people’s of the world and opressed, exploited poor people of Antalia have two demands: BREAD AND JUSTICE.

We fight for bread and justice. Just as people cannot live without bread, they cannot live without justice. It is because of that, as people’s artists we fight against those who take the bread out of our hands and those who leave us without justice. This homeland is in the claws of injustice. “The scale of justice” weights in favour of the rich. We will sing our songs once again against this.
