Izmir, December 26th, 2017

On December 26th, 2017 female revolutionary prisoner Didem Akman, which is held in a isolation cell in Shakran F type prison, located near city of Izmir, on the Aegean coast of Turkey, burned her cell to protest the prisoner uniform. This is the first action of revolutionary prisoners against prisoner uniforms. In 2016 Akman was exiled together with her comrades from Sincan F type prison, near Ankara, to Shakran prison, which is famous with his brutal torturers.
